SXSW Film Festival

This is not a party invitation (it’s more or less a way to shamelessly promote my latest creative endeavor) but you should read it anyway. Prom Date, a short documentary film which I directed, is having its US premiere at the South By Southwest Film Festival in good old Austin, Texas on March 12th. The film follows an upper-east side private high school student as she tries to find a date for her prom on the internet.
Apparently someone down there at SXSW likes it because it will actually screen for a second time on March 14th. For those of you who don’t care, I’m sorry. And for those of you who do, I’m also sorry, but in a different way. Hopefully Prom Date will be playing in NYC at some point soon. And then I can throw a big party with free drinks and bother you with something a little more relevant to your life.
